The 2025 FABRICAST™ collection features knits and wovens with nature-derived colorations from minerals and indigo, textural complexity through the integration of yarn and stitch structure, colorful jacquard constructions, and quilted fabrics with pre- and post-consumer recycled cotton batting.
Delving into methods for reducing the use of synthetic-based dyestuffs, nature-sourced materials were explored. Indigo dyes derived from the indigofera plant exude a rich range of blue-toned hues on textural knits and wovens. Yarns dyed with naturally occurring mineral pigments are combined with natural cotton in soft stripes and geometric patterned knits. Quilting combines rigid wovens with soft knits, encapsulating batting made from pre- and post-consumer recycled cotton.
Wovens and knits feature organic shapes and precise geometric patterning with popping color combinations. Knit jacquards with elongated float yarns offer a wavy visual optic. Double cloth jacquards reverse striking colors from front to back. Traditional twills are updated in soft, undulating diagonal waves. Denim is taken to an elevated level with novelty bouclé and eyelash yarns in twills and dobby weaves. Faux indigo novelty yarns with a mélange look are featured in a mock cable coarse gauge flat knit.
