Cotton Incorporated Fellowships (CIF)
The Cotton Incorporated Fellowship (CIF) program provides excellent doctoral and post-doctoral training opportunities for qualified applicants. Cotton Incorporated is committed to enhancing the training of future cotton breeders, entomologists, agronomists, and engineers through support of this program. Begun in 2002, Cotton Incorporated continues to coordinate with participating academic departments and Principle Investigators in the selection process for qualified CIF candidates.
Outstanding doctoral and post-doctoral students continue to be recruited for research projects as part of the expanded initiative by Cotton Incorporated. Successful fellows must have a strong academic background in plant breeding, plant molecular biology, agronomy, entomology, engineering or related disciplines. Fellows will be at the core of expanded cooperative research projects ongoing at public institutions as part of this initiative. All CIF applicants will be required to meet the admission requirements of cooperating academic institutions and programs.
